Do you enjoy the grounds of All Saints’?
Enhancements of our six-acre churchyard include designated areas for all Creation: humans, birds, honeybees, butterflies, and many other critters!
A stone altar and permanent benches provide a serene setting for outdoor worship services under the trees.
The wooded lot features a firepit, sturdy posts for hammocks, picnic tables, and spaces for basketball, volleyball, and soccer.
A variety of wildlife is attracted by plants native to Arkansas, and garden plots and tools are available to members of the parish and our neighbors!
These beautiful spaces need tending. We are always seeking volunteers to help care for our gardens and grounds. Are you able to mow, trim, or water these spaces? Would you like to make a donation for additional plants in one of our three native flower gardens? We would be grateful for your gifts of time, talent, and treasures! Bird-Friendly Habitat
As of June 2026, the All Saints’ churchyard is an Arkansas Audubon Society gold certified bird-friendly property. Sixteen years ago, a Food and Faith Fair hosted by All Saints’ began to shape the Parish’s commitment to caring for our grounds and promoting environmental awareness and stewardship. We began by establishing the Edible Churchyard Community Garden, offering a small garden plot to anyone who wished a place to plant and nurture flowers and vegetables. We placed native plants at the outdoor altar and in the Pet Memorial Garden, and installed beehives to support the insects necessary for plant health. We planted pollinator gardens and native trees and embraced the Episcopal Church’s programs and commitments related to Creation Care.
These efforts to be good stewards of our grounds resulted in recognition as a certified wildlife habitat by the National Wildlife Federation. Now All Saints’ joins more than 200 other Audubon-certified bird-friendly properties in 34 Arkansas counties as our efforts continue. Please contact us if you’d like to know more!
