You're Invited! Education for Ministry: Community Gatherings

Ever been curious about Education for Ministry? Here's a chance to get a taste of the EfM experience! Our EfM Group is hosting two Community Gatherings: Sunday, March 15 and Sunday, March 29 at 1:30 - 4:30 pm in the Large Classroom (library). If you're interested in getting a sampling of what a typical EfM meeting is like, you are invited to come worship with us, join the discussion of the readings for both weeks, and participate in our Theological Reflections. 

For both weeks our group is reading Sue Monk Kidd's memoir God's Joyful Surprise. We have several books on order if you wish to purchase one through Charlie, though copies are limited. Ebooks are available through your preferred e-reader app (e.g. Bookshop, Kindle, etc.). You are always welcome to come and join in the discussion even if you are unable to join us in the readings!

March 15 readings: God's Joyful Surprise, introduction and chapters 1-8

The first half of the meeting will be dedicated to the discussion of the assigned reading; the second half will be a Theological Reflection shared by one of our EfM members. These are always lively and poignant discussions!
